Worked out the details for the tank paint, and dropped the tank off last nite - looks like the painter had some free time and decided to get a jump on the prep work.

After a set of headaches with the comapny who manufactures the seat I wanted, it showed up today!! They don't accept credit cards, and their bank said it would take 6 weeks to clear the bank check I sent them.  USPS money orders are no good in the UK either!  Thank God for Del, who was awesome enough to send a check over from Wales for me.

Mounted it up, and we are just about ready for paint.  FINALLY!

IT'S HERE!!! IT'S HERE!! IT'S HERE!!!

Tank came today :)  I am super stoked how it came out, 3 cheers to the guys over at OhioCafeRacers.com who fabricated the GP tank.  Really excellent work, looks great mounted up, and hopefully the painter will bee picking it up today to get started. 

 SO PSYCHED!!!

Motor is out, parts are inventoried and it's jsut about ready to ship out to the powdercoater - still trying to round up a few small bits first before it goes.

Been lazy waiting for parts.  Got the new bars in, found out that the company who manufactured the electronic igniton I ordered was sold to another company, who has to inventory all of their product - and have no idea when they will be able to sell more, so I am SOL.  On I continue looking for alternatives.  Won a used set of 600RR rearsets on ebay today which look like they will fit better than the f4i sets I had on hand.  Motor is ready to come out, and the fun is almost here to begin.
