Talked to fuzz for 2 min, and she asked when I would put the motor in.
How about now?
The white stripes on the forks are paper - I was trying an idea Fuzz had to maybe add some painted white stripes with black borders on the forks.

Cleaned up the wheels a bit today - put 'em on with the centerstand to get an idea of how it's coming together. I must say, I am rather pleased with the results so far.

Got the final bits back from the powdercoater yesterday (I decided to have the trees done, as well as some small assorted parts). Big thanks to Catfish over at Farklemasters.com for generously lending his tire machine (which ended up his tire irons as he doesn't have the parts for a 19" rim) and his elbow grease to help me get the new sneakers on the rims (new avon 18s with ultra heavy duty Michelin tubes).
Threw the forks together today, decided to put them on to see how everything fit. had an issue with the new steering head bearings that I will have to work out, but hopefully that will be relatively easy to solve...

Well, after a month of waiting for oldbikebarn to finally ship my stuff, the shocks and steering head bearings showed up today. A few more small bits are at the powdercoater (and should be done any day now), and the new tires/tubes are on their way and should be here next Tuesday, so the next few weeks should see some real advances.
Figured I'd post up a few more pics, with the swingarm and shocks mounted up.

Got the frame and bits back from the powdercoater. Super unbelievable 3 cheers from the guys at Island Powdercoating in Miller Place for doing an incredible job. I am waiting on a few parts to come, and I can finally get this bike back together :)
